The 7th Annual Williston Part Family Fun Run/Walk will return to the village next month. The event will happen rain or shine and will be a good opportunity for families to spend time together.
The run is held in honor of Molly Williams, a former nurse from the Williston Park area. Each participant will follow a set course that starts at Kelleher Field. Each runner will then wrap around the neighborhood and finish back at Kelleher Field. Before the event starts, each participant will need to pick up their race number. These numbers must remain on for the entire run.
Participants will also receive a race T-shirt after signing up. These kinds of shirts are generally made with the help of local Print shops to help celebrate the event. There are a limited number of shirts available, and organizers cannot guarantee new shirts if participants pre-register for the race after November 11th. The top female and male runners of their age groups will also receive an award for their efforts.
The family run will take place on November 27th starting at 9:00 AM. Race registration will open an hour earlier, and those pre-registered can also pick up their shirts at this time.
