Hofstra University, located near Williston Park, will be hosting Career Fair tours during March.
The event is specifically geared towards individuals who are interested in learning more about Hofstra and potentially attending the university in the future. It will have an array of information about its course options, as well as the career paths students can take after they graduate.
Attendees will be guided through the event by a representative from Hofstra. The organizers hope this will ease the sense of intimidation people often experience when attending career fairs, and ensure they are able to ask any questions they might have about the university.
Since prospective employers will be on hand, attendees will have the chance to take Business Cards from them and benefit from professional advice on how to improve their careers, as well as gain some insight into the skills and credentials employers are looking for in candidates.
The event is being run by the Hofstra University Center for Career Design & Development, and will be on March 16 from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm. It will take place at the Mack Sports & Exhibition Complex, which is located at 245 Hofstra University in Hempstead. Tickets and RSVPs are not required, and the event is free to attend.
