Thunderbirds to headline air show

The Annual Bethpage Air Show will be returning in 2023 for its 19th edition.

The show will be headlined by the United States Airforce Thunderbirds. The headliner was announced by the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and History Preservation, along with the Bethpage Federal Credit Union. This will become the ninth occasion on which the Thunderbirds have made put on a show at the Bethpage Air Show. Banner printing can be used to entertain crowds at air shows like this.

George Gorman, the Regional Director for the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, promoted the event by saying:

“Last year, we were very grateful that the Thunderbirds changed their schedule to perform for us on Memorial Day, after the Saturday and Sunday weekend shows were rained out. We couldn't be happier to welcome the team back to Long Island for our 2023 show!”

Other performers scheduled to perform at the 2023 show include the United States Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, the United States Marine Corps F35B Lightning II, and the Skytypers. Long Island native David Windmiller and Mike Goulian are two decorated pilots who are on the Skytypers team.

The show will be held at Jones Beach on May 27 and 28, 2023. People who live in nearby towns such as Williston Park are invited to attend. In 2024, the United States Navy Blue Angels will be headlining the Bethpage Air Show’s 20th Anniversary.
