Steakhouse open near Williston Park

A new steak and seafood eatery recently opened its doors in Garden City, only a short drive for Williston Park residents.

Primehouse Steak & Sushi is the brainchild of Artthur Gustafson, who is both the owner and the chef. Gustafson has two other restaurants on Long Island – Salsa Mexicana and Chadwicks – both of which are located in Rockville Centre.

The new restaurant combines two of Long Island's most popular cuisines – seafood and beef – but refines them by adding sushi to the dishes instead of cooked fish. The restaurant's interior design is also out of the norm for such places, giving up the “clubby” look for clean, modern décor. However, the changes go far beyond appearance, and extend to the menu as well.

Gustafson says the food is for everybody. There are steaks on the menu for $110, but there are also chicken dishes for less than $25. Starters include shrimp and lobster cocktails, oysters, clams, beef bone marrow, and a lobster tart. Soups include a “tomato velvet” served with puff pastry and cheese, and include the more traditional lobster bisque, and there is a full range of salads. Steaks and seafood are the main attraction, with American Wagyu beef available. Other selections include lamb, sea bass, and, of course, sushi.

The restaurant is open for dinner every day, and for both lunch and dinner during the week. Sunday brunches are planned to start next month. Promotional Pens are often used to build the brands of new businesses like this.
