Funds raised from PCF Walkathon will benefit the
Pediatric Cancer Foundation, and all walkers will receive T-shirt as they check in, which they can show off after the walk. The organizers may have used a mixture of poster printing and flyer printing to promote this fundraising walk to people in the region.
Now in its 20th year, the walk is welcoming people who want to sign up on he day, although an additional $5 per walk-in will be charged. All walkers will enjoy breakfast, food, and drinks courtesy of the sponsors backing this event. There will be an opening ceremony and a raffle draw with host Lee Goldberg, the Channel 7 Eyewitness News Meteorologist, at 11:00 am.
The walk follows an easy-going path through a historic area park, and the event concludes with a party featuring food, drink, face-painting, and DTR Entertainment.
Registration costs are available online.
