Music festival scheduled near Williston Park

For 11 days, the Oyster Bay Music Festival will bring concerts to venues all around Long Island. Although the festival is already underway, there is plenty of music still to come.

The festival's main location is Oyster Bay, an easy drive from Williston Park, whose residents will be more than welcome to join in the fun. Attendees will find themselves moving from place to place to take in all the concerts, which run daily through July 3.

Among the many events today are ‘She Persisted: Great Women Composers!’ at 5:00 pm at Raynham Hall Museum in Oyster Bay. At 7:30 pm, harpist Bridget Kibbey and her trio Chalaca present ‘Bach Meets Bossa Nova’ at Christ Church.

Tomorrow at 5:00 pm, it's ‘How Do I Love Thee, Music, Let Me Count the Ways’. At 7:30 pm, the concert is ‘Musical Treasures and FantaSEAS.’

The nautical theme continues Thursday, June 27, with ‘Music on the High C's’ at 7:30 pm at the Oakcliff Sailing Center. On June 28 at 2:00 pm, the event is ‘Not Just for Kids!’, and that night at 7:30 pm, attendees can see ‘Movie Music Night 2: The Sequel.’ Banner printing can provide decorations for events like this.

There are three concerts on June 29, two on June 30, one on July 1, and two on July 2. The festival winds up July 3 at Christ Church for ‘Opera Night: Outrageous Plots, Poisons, and Potions,’ starting at 7:30 pm. Complete details are on the event website.
