Parents and kids who are passionate about baking and cooking should keep the calendar open next month, as a cooking class for children is coming to the Williston Park region.
Maggiano’s Garden City restaurant is hosting the class, providing a welcoming learning environment for adults and kids to explore the culinary arts. The course is designed to teach participants the basics of making cookies and other treats. It is an event geared toward children, so adults can only take part if bringing a child with them.
The courses will provide all the necessary materials and equipment for a day of decorating cookies and exploring the baking basics. Children will have sprinkles and icing to add color and creativity to the cookies. Attendees can take the cookies home after the event to share with family and friends. Poster printing is an excellent way to spread awareness of events like this.
The ticket price includes a Maggiano’s breakfast buffet and coloring session. Each child will receive a chef’s hat and apron for the event, and the restaurant’s chef will lead the course.
The course will be held at Maggiano’s Little Italy on Saturday, February 10, beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 11:00 AM. Kids between the ages of 4 and 12 are welcome. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $30 for kids and can be purchased online.
