Great entertainer coming to Williston Park area

One of the biggest stars in music will soon be making a Long Island appearance, and Williston Park residents should buy their tickets now.

With a career that now spans almost 40 years, countless nominations and awards from dozens of organizations (including five Grammy wins, a People's Choice Award, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame), millions of album sales, two residencies in Las Vegas, and numerous tours, Celine Dion is one of the most popular entertainers in the world, and is now on her way to Long Island.

Dion's career began in her native Quebec when she, her mother, and brother collaborated on her first song, “Nothing but a Dream.” Music manager René Angélil heard her, and believed in her so strongly he mortgaged his home to help pay for her first recording. She was just 12 years old.

She gained international fame when she won the 1982 Yamaha World Popular Song Festival, held in Tokyo. In 1988, she gained even more attention when she won the Eurovision Song Contest. Since then, she has built one of the most impressive careers in music, earning glowing reviews like:

“There might not be a human being alive who can belt ballads with as much power and control and grace as Celine Dion.”

Dion is bringing her Courage World Tour to Uniontown, near Williston Park, where she will appear at the Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, on Tuesday, March 3 at 7:30 pm. Brochure printing can provide informative programs for events like this.
