Cradle-Con and Long Island Retro Gaming Expo are working together for the first annual Festival of Games. The event will happen next month, and locals from nearby areas like Williston Park are welcome to join.
Festival of Games is a festive event with shopping opportunities and gaming opportunities. Various small businesses will be in attendance to sell retro video games, toys, collectibles, and comics. There will also be different video games available for guests to play, which includes the Arcade Age Exhibit, one of the event’s biggest draws. Here, guests will be able to sample over 70 classics from the arcade days. These kinds of events also usually have Promotional Products and other goods that guests can win.
The event will help fundraise for the Cradle of Aviation Museum and its Preservation and Education Programs. Proceeds from ticket sales will support this cause, and the museum also has merchandise that can be bought to help fund its programs.
The Festival of Games will take place on December 11 between 10:00 AM and 9:00 PM. It will happen at the Cradle of Aviation Museum, which is located at Charles Lindberg Boulevard.
