People who love classic cars have a treat coming, as a classic car show is on the way to Williston Park.
The 4th Annual Long Island Motor Parkway Classic Car Show will bring classic cars, modified cars, motorcycles, trucks, hot rods, muscle cars, stock cars, vintage and antique cars, and special interest to the village. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create decorations for the venue.
A dash plaque will be given to each of the first 100 vehicles to arrive, and all vehicles have to be at the site by 10:00 am. Car clubs who want to display their vehicles together must arrive, as a group, by 9:00 am. Every vehicle must have a fire extinguisher of its own.
Owners who are exhibiting their cars are also invited to become vendors. They can sell any items they wish, without charge. People who would like to be part of the flea market, but are not exhibiting a vehicle, may do so by paying a $25 fee.
Admission prices are $5 for adults, $2 for children from the ages of six through twelve, and admission is free for children under six. A car owner and passenger will be admitted for $10.
The show is set for this Sunday, April 28, from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm, at the American Legion Post on Willis Avenue in Williston Park. The event will be held rain or shine, and it is not necessary to pre-register.
