Valentines with a difference on offer for Syosset teens
Teens who are looking for an alternative way to celebrate Valentine’s Day are welcome to stop by the Syosset Public Library for a special evening event, where there will not be a single red heart or sappy love poem in sight.
The library has organized an Anti-Valentine’s Day Party for young people, and they are welcome to share the joys that can often go hand and hand with being single with others who are on also their own and happy to be that way. It will include activities geared towards kids who are in grades 6 to 12, and registration is mandatory to participate.
The plans for the soiree includes cookie taste testing, and some arts and crafting is also on the agenda. It is free to take part in the activity.
