Syosset singers are invited to warm up their voice so they can star in an evening that will give everyone an opportunity to release their inner diva.
iSchool of Music & Art has an evening of music in the works, and it will have lots to offer local karaoke fans. While filled with fun, the event will also have a serious side, and everyone who attends the festivities has been asked to bring along a generous donation for the food drive.
Admission to the event will be $10.00, and as a costume contest has been planned, everyone is encouraged to get creative in their attire. Prizes will be presented, and thanks to an even split draw, one of the guests will go home with a cash prize. Food and drinks will be available, and a special award will be given to whoever brings in the largest food donation.
A donation drive provides a way for a food pantry or other community feeding program to ensure its shelves are full. A poster printing company may be tasked with preparing materials that let the public know how they can get involved as well as what items are needed the most.
The iSchool of Music & Art is set to celebrate Halloween with its karaoke food and fundraiser on October 27th. The doors will open at 6:00 pm.
