Syosset Porsche lovers to hit the road for special event
When it comes to a dream car, a Porsche is often on the top of the list for many vehicle buffs. Those who are interested in the brand and the autos that have been produced under it might be interested in Driven to America, which is an event planned for the Syosset area.
The celebration, which will be marking its third year, will tell the story of the Porsche brand and also the people who helped make it popular in the USA. Both air cooled and water cooled models will be included in the day, and Porsche owners are invited to register for a chance to show off their motor to other aficionados.
Driven to America 3 will be held at Fort Hill in Lloyd Harbor, and tickets are available for those who would like to participate. The Gatsby Display will feature air cooled models, while the VIP Water Cooled Display will be reserved for those that use a water cooling system. Tickets for the public who wish to view the vehicles are $20, and kids who are 12 and under can enter free of charge when they are with a parent or guardian.
