Syosset outdoor pond owners now have a new option when it comes to purchasing supplies, and a local venue will be introducing itself when it welcomes guests for an upcoming evening event.
The team at The Pond Supply Superstore in Dix Hills will be the hosts for its Koi and Cocktails fundraiser, which will help area canine rescues. This will be the first time the business has held the function, and admission will be free.
Attendees will be treated to an assortment of cocktails, and while they mix and mingle, they will be invited to place their bids on some of the koi on the auction block. There will be opportunities to learn more about these popular fish as well as their care and upkeep. The activity is for those age 21 and up only, and donations to the event’s two local charities of choice will be appreciated.
