Syosset area to help make holidays happier

Each year, the U.S. Marine Corps runs its Toys for Tots campaign, and the organizers of a Syosset area event are hoping to make a big contribution to the cause.

The crew at Frantoni's Restaurant, which includes Marine veteran Anthony Suppa and the rest of his team, will be hosting an activity at Oheka Castle next month. This event has been held for over a decade, and the fundraiser will both support Toys for Tots and recognize those who have served their country.

Attendees will be enjoying an afternoon full of festive fun. It will run for three hours in mid-December, and it has set a goal of raising $50,000, with over $1,000 already raised towards the cause. All proceeds will be donated to the cause, and they will be used to purchase gifts so every child can have a happy holiday season.

Frantoni’s Restaurant has scheduled its annual Toys for Tots fundraiser for Sunday, December 15. The fun will kick off at 12:00 noon. Anyone who cannot attend in person but would still like to help can make a monetary donation.
