What's Happening in Syosset, NY…

Syosset area offer to take work out of Thanksgiving dinner

Thanks to a local eatery, Syosset residents can leave the bulk of the Thanksgiving prep to someone else, while still enjoying time with family and friends.

A full feast, including a 22-pound turkey, will be delivered to each household that preorders their meal, filled with fare from Prime and Tellers. It will be enough to feed between 10 and 14 people, and it will include soup, appetizers, a main course, and dessert.

When they receive their hamper of food, the recipients can put the cider-brined turkey into the oven, and the bird will be ready to roast and will be accompanied by turkey stock and gravy. There will also be butternut squash soup, baked brie, stuffing, vegetables, rolls, potatoes, cranberry sauce and dessert. These dishes will be ready to eat, and just need to be reheated, which will leave lots of time to spend with Thanksgiving guests.

Anyone who would like to take advantage of this offer has been advised to book their meal box now, as quantities are limited. Stationery printers can craft printed menus that might include a cheery graphic design to include with each meal in this sort of initiative, which can add some extra fun to the occasion.

Prime will be delivering its pre-packaged Thanksgiving meals this Thursday, November 26. It is priced at $325 each.
