Syosset area invited to tee off in golf classic
The New York Institute of Technology offers a variety of post-secondary educational opportunities, and its fundraising golf classic is right around the corner.
The Syosset area's Woodside Club will be the venue for the NYITCOM Golf Classic, which is just approximately six miles from the campus. The day will open with a breakfast meet and greet so everyone can get to know one another, and after that, it will be time to take to the links.
The golf will kick off with a shotgun start, and everyone will be served their lunch out on the course. At the end of the day, the participants will have a chance to mingle during a cocktail hour which will be followed by a sit-down plated dinner.
Those who would like to get involved in the day can choose to purchase individual or foursome tickets, and there are also sponsorship packages on offer. These start at $500, and each includes an opportunity for the supporter’s company logo design to be seen by the golfers, as well as others out on the course for the day.
This chance to do a good turn for students while enjoying a day of fun in the sun is scheduled for August 15. The activity will kick off at 9:00 am, and more details have been added to the NYITCOM website.
