Fido-friendly celebration to welcome Syossets dog lovers
Syosset’s families may want to save room in their calendar for an event that will give them a chance to sample a wide assortment of locally crafted beer, and Fido is welcome to come along as well.
The Barks and Brews Beer Festival is right around the corner, and a portion of the monies raised during the function will help to support area dog rescues. The furry guests will be able to run and play in the off-leash area, and their human companions can meet friends old and new.
Those who would like to be a part of the celebration will have their choice of ticket options. These include a Beer Sampling ticket or a VIP pass, and General Admission tickets, which do not include the beer samples, are also on offer. Those who purchase a beer sampling or VIP ticket will receive a tasting glass that boasts a special graphic design, and there will be a draw for a vacation getaway, with tickets for this draw included with each pass purchased.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the organizers of the day have asked that everyone who attends follow social distancing guidelines. They will also need to sign a waiver, bring a mask, and use the hand sanitizer provided.
The Barks and Brews Beer Festival will give local dog lovers a reason to celebrate on September 12. Old Bethpage Village Restoration will be the venue for the festivities.
