Rhinebeck to host children concert

A children’s concert will be held in Rhinebeck at the weekend.

The Hillbilly Parade is well-known for their upbeat tunes, and currently sit atop the Hudson’s Valley Top Country Cover Band list. The concert will also follow a dress-up theme of cowboys and hillbillies. Patrons are welcome to wear their favorite cowboy boots and overalls for the show. The session will give all guests the opportunity to hear their favorite country hits. These are sure to have attendees up and dancing throughout the performance.

The event comes as a part of a weekly series that features shows put on by the Center of Performing Arts. Each week consists of a Saturday morning show lasting between 45 - 60 minutes. It features kid-friendly entertainment and activities. The series began in October and continues until mid-December. It has presented shows with themes such as Cinderella and the Wizard of Oz, no doubt attracting guests from nearby Red Hook.

The cost for tickets for each seat is $10. These are available for sale on the events’ website. For future shows, residents may also reserve their tickets in advance.
