Red Hook photographers offered high flying opportunity

An event that may be of interest to photographers and aviation fans alike has been organized for the Red Hook area, and it will provide an opportunity that is not usually available to the public.

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum and Air Shows will be opening its doors for an afterhours photo shoot. Tickets for the activity are $125.00 each, and online a limited number are on offer.

Those who reserve a spot in the session will be able to view and photograph six of the vintage aircraft that are the centerpoints of the venue’s weekly airshows. All of the planes will be lit by LEDs for a nighttime engine run, and each will last for approximately eight minutes. Tom Pawlesh will serve as the lead for the activity, and he has many years of experience as an airline pilot and also as a photographer. Everyone is reminded to dress for the weather, and only 40 spaces are available.

When organizing a special event, venues may require custom designed application Forms, wavers and other documents. A company that prepares Letterheads and other personalized items will be able to supply these materials.

The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome Museum and Air Shows will be providing this rare opportunity to catch nighttime photos of some of its vintage aircraft on November 24th. Additional details can be obtained by calling 845-752-3200.
