The warm days of May bring beautiful blossoms, and in Red Hook, it will also offer a special, pop-up event that may be of special interest to moms.
The Red Hook Rotary Club chapter will once again welcome one and all at its Apple Blossom Festival. Open for six hours, it will be suitable for the whole family and may be a fun chance to do some shopping for Mother’s Day gifts.
The activity will see an assortment of entertainers perform for the crowd, and everyone can head to the food trucks to choose their favorite meal or snack or try something new. The craft and artisan market will be filled with gift ideas, and shoppers may also want to treat themselves. Vendor spaces are still available at the time of writing, some of which will be under tenting.
Pop-up markets can give the vendors that take part a chance to both boost their sales and introduce themselves to a potential new customer base. Red Hook’s Apple Blossom Festival will run from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sunday, May 10. The Red Hook Village Center will be the venue for the occasion.
