A furniture painting course will be held in Red Hook this March.
The aim of the session is to educate attendees on the basics of painting furniture professionally. The topics will include how to prep for painting, basic painting techniques, and professional finishes. Each attendee will be provided with an incomplete piece to work with for the duration of the class. They are free to take it home at the event’s conclusion.
Refreshments will be available to everyone, which will include snacks and drinks.
The class is being held by the local furniture boutique Hudson Valley Vintage, a provider of antique furniture, restored pieces, and decorative painting. The company frequently hosts DIY paint workshops for a variety of products and techniques, including paint pouring, mason jars, and personal pieces. It also hosts workshops for private groups for special occasions.
