Historic Red Hook (HRH) has started an online auction for residents of the neighborhood this December.
The auction is held for the benefit of the Elmendorph Inn and its green campaign. HRH aims to complete the campaign by the end of this year. Patrons and those interested may support this initiative by bidding, or by sending cash donations. They may also show their support by sharing the details of the event through social media.
The auction features prizes such as personal tours of historic homes and vacation getaways. Bidders are also invited to join Historic Red Hook on Zoom for cocktails during the auction's final hour.
Prize-winners will be notified via email of how to collect their prizes after the event ends. Winners of physical items will need to collect them at the Elmendorph Inn, as they will not be shipped.
