Local city hosts swap meet

The weekend “Rhinebeck Antique Car Show and Swap Meet” is scheduled to take place this May.

This is a rain-or-shine event where enthusiasts can indulge in their passion for vintage automobiles. The Swap Meet, running from Friday to Sunday will offer a diverse array of automotive goods. Meanwhile, the Car Shows on Saturday and Sunday will showcase different categories such as Rods and Customs, Sport Compacts and Pickups, and Classics and Antiques up to 1998. Attendees can expect a vibrant atmosphere at the Dutchess County Grounds with meticulously curated displays.

Vendor registration to the Swap Meet is currently open, with both indoor and outdoor spaces available. Pre-registration is required, with set up beginning on Friday morning. Security patrols will ensure a safe environment throughout the event. Individuals from close by cities such as Red Hook, New York may also be in attendance at this event.

The cost for an individual one-day pass will be $15, the two-day pass will cost $25, and the individual 3-day pass will cost $35. A senior or veteran ticket will cost $12 and children will be able to enter for free. Attendees should also note that tickets bought online will have a $1.50 fee.
