Sports group to hold outing in Massapequa Park

LI-Kick will be organizing an ice skating excursion to an outdoor facility in Massapequa Park in February.

Ice Skating with LI-Kick is an experience for all ages where participants can mingle while they skate. The event will take place at the Marjorie R. Post Community Park Ice Rink. The activity will be mostly outside on the rink, though guests can hang out at the facility’s nearby skate house. Those who attend the excursion will not be required to bring their own skates, as rentals will be available at the venue for $5 per pair. The event is a private function for members of LI-Kick.

The Marjorie R. Post Community Park Ice Rink is a facility operated by The Town of Oyster Bay. The organization also runs the Syosset-Woodbury Community Park Ice Rink and the Ice Skating Center at Bethpage Community Park. The skating facilities offer discounts to those who are seniors, veterans, and volunteer firefighters. Residents in the community can also receive discounted admission to the rinks.

The group ice skating party will be held on Sunday, February 5 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Admission to the excursion will cost people $25. Those interested in becoming part of LI-Kick can register for one of the organization’s leagues or tournaments. Sports organizations in charge of skating sessions like this may use flyer printing to promote their athletic activities.
