Fans of live concerts in Massapequa Park can watch a local orchestra play holiday favorites during a show in December.
Sounds of the Season is a performance where people can watch the talented musicians of the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra play exhilarating versions of classic holiday songs. Audience members can participate in the activity by singing along to the music. There will also be holiday refreshments provided at the concert. The show will take place at the Alfred G. Berner Middle School, and the performance will last for two and a half hours.
The event is part of the Massapequa Philharmonic Orchestra’s 2023-2024 season of concerts. The series includes shows such as Classic Romantics, Sublime Beauty, and Centenary in Blue. Each performance will be held at the Alfred G. Berner Middle School from 3:00 pm to 5:30 pm. The concert series starts in October and will end in June. Ted Rosenthal will appear as a special guest soloist during one of the performances.
The Sounds of the Season concert will be held on Sunday, December 10. Tickets to the orchestra’s live show will cost $23.41 per person and need to be bought before the day of the show.
