Baby Ballet Long Island will hold an event series in Massapequa Park where mothers can learn ballet with their children.
Mommy and Me: An Introduction to Ballet is a program that lets mothers connect with their kids through fun-filled exercises. The course helps children develop their physical and emotional confidence. The course is taught by Katrina, an instructor who trained at The Ballet Center and has danced in productions like The Nutcracker and Cinderella. Katrina currently dances for organizations like Katya’s School of Dance. She has also been a guest dancer for children’s recitals.
The venue for the parent-child lessons will be at Party in the Park, an open-play environment that lets children navigate the world and feed their creativity in a safe space. The facility offers kids a playground to climb, build, and interact with other children. People can book the venue for birthday parties. The packages start at $325 and can be upgraded to include live music, gourmet food platters for adults, and balloon rings. The facility also hosts art classes. Similar venues can advertise their activities in the community via flyer printing.
The ballet series will be held from Thursday, March 7th, to Thursday, April 18th. Each session will take place from 10:00am to 10:30am. The cost for children to participate in the ballet course is $180, and the maximum number of kids allowed in the class is 12. All child participants must be between one and four years old.
