Massapequa Park to host children's program

A library in Massapequa Park will be holding a themed activity for children this April with the help of Snapology.

The Central Branch of the Massapequa Park Library will have a superhero-themed Snapology event for kids. The session will provide children with an engaging activity that helps teach them about engineering and math principles. Kids who attend the activity can design original superheroes using interactive building toys, and will also create their own adventure during the event. Attendees will be making comic strips as well.

Snapology is a series of courses designed to educate children about topics such as science and technology with the help of building blocks. Several themed programs are offered by Snapology, including Monster Mania, Pokémania, and movie characters. The concept was initially formed by Lisa and Laura Coe, who noticed how their kids enjoyed working with interactive toys. Those who offer activities like this can make ads with printing services to inform people about upcoming sessions.

The Snapology Superheroes event is going ahead at the time of writing and will be held on Monday, April 13 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The activity is intended for kids who are five and older. Registration for the program will begin on March 30 for locals. Non-residents can register for the event starting on April 6. The session will be located in the children’s room at the library.
