Massapequa Park to hold family street fair

A summer fair will take place in Massapequa Park this June at the Lower Broadway in Massapequa.

The 2023 Massapequa Community Street Fair is a fun program where townsfolk and visitors can enjoy entertainment while looking through the booths of local vendors. The grand marshal for the event is Laura Maier, a businesswoman who owns the Dairy Queen in Massapequa and two branches of Jersey Mike’s Subs. Several child-friendly activities will be offered at the street fair, such as riding ponies, face painting, and interacting with animals at a petting zoo.

There will be sponsorships for organizations looking to support the Massapequa Community Street Fair. Multiple contribution levels are available that range between $500 and $5,000. The highest tier package will offer benefits like an onstage plaque presentation during the fair’s ceremonies, premium advertising in the event’s press releases, and an invitation to speak on the main stage. All sponsors will get an event space for their contributions.

The street fair will be on Sunday, June 4 from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm, and the rain date for the program is Sunday, June 11. There is no price to enter the event and look around at the vendors. General vendors may pay $225 for a space. Merchants at fairs like this may bring promotional Pens as a way to connect with stall visitors.
