Massapequa Park to celebrate New Years Eve with blues band

The American Legion in Massapequa Park will hold a New Year’s Eve party with the Johnny Mac Band.

NYE with the Johnny Mac Band is a holiday program where people can say goodbye to 2023 with dinner and a special show. The event will include a dinner with dishes such as skirt steak, grilled salmon, penne ala vodka, and potato croquettes. There will also be a cocktail hour where attendees can mingle with other guests. The venue will have an open bar, and all guests are invited to join a champagne toast at midnight.

The Johnny Mac Band is a group that was formed in 2012 by Johnny Mac, a vocalist and guitarist for the band. Mac is usually joined by Dave Ice, Joe Roberts, and Gene C. Linefsky. The group is known for playing blues, funk, reggae, and R&B hits, though the band also has created original music of their own. A few of the Johnny Mac Band’s original songs include “Goodbye Orlando”, “Didn’t Wanna Text”, and “5 Reasons to Leave”.

The American Legion’s New Year’s Eve party will be held on Sunday, December 31st from 8:00pm to 1:00am. Tickets to the event will cost attendees $100 per person, and admission for the party may only be booked through the venue’s Americana Lounge.
