Folks in Massapequa Park can attend a course in December to learn about using the Samsung Galaxy SmartWatch.
The Massapequa Public Library has teamed up with Sharper Training Solutions, Inc. to teach people how they can make the most out of using their Samsung Galaxy SmartWatch. The lesson will cover the basics of operating the device, such as how to use the watch to call, email, and text other people. The instructor will also discuss how attendees can download new applications for their watches and synch the technology with their Samsung Phones.
Sharper Training Solutions, Inc. is an organization providing tech-related educational programming to senior centers, libraries, and businesses since 2002. All instructors who teach with the group are trained in multiple disciplines, such as web design, publishing, and network engineering. The programs from the training company cover topics like operating tablets, social media, and digital cameras. Those in charge of lessons like these can use brochure printing to include take-home resources in their presentations.
The Intro to Galaxy’s SmartWatch course will be held on Thursday, December 16 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. The lesson is virtual, so all attendees must register to receive information on how to join the meeting. There are no prerequisites for entering the SmartWatch class. The lesson will be taught by David Redmond.
