The Village of Massapequa Park will welcome runners of all ages this October for the 31st Annual Massapequa Park Mile.
Registration includes multiple pricing tiers. Early Bird rates, available through September 24th, are $23.45 for the one-mile race and $18.28 for participants 18 and under. Standard pricing increases to $28.63 for adults, while youth fees remain unchanged. Massapequa Road Runners members may register for $15. Additional options include a $20 registration with bib personalization if completed three weeks prior to the race day, increasing to $25 after September 24. Youth under 18 may also register for $15.
Amenities include race shirts for runners who sign up before September 4th, free finish-line photos and videos, and text or email access to live results. Awards will be presented to top finishers overall, masters (40+), and the top three in multiple age groups. Course record bonuses of $100 remain in place for male and female competitors.
Flyer printing remains a practical way for organizers to promote annual events and increase neighborhood involvement for races such as this one.
The event will kick off at the Massapequa Funeral Home Parking Lot, 1050 Park Blvd, Massapequa Park, New York. The women’s race begins at 9 am followed by the men’s heat at 9:30 am, with an additional Kids Fun Run at no charge taking place immediately after. The event will proceed regardless of rain.
