Massapequa Park gears up for annual street festival

Massapequa Park’s Chamber of Commerce will host its annual street fair this June.

The event will transform Lower Broadway into a pedestrian-only corridor between Veterans Boulevard and Clark Avenue. The community celebration will feature live music, food trucks, local artisans, and family-friendly attractions.

The event, expected to draw thousands, includes performances of classic hits, a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and craft vendors. Merchants and local businesses will showcase goods and services throughout the day. Children’s activities are designed to engage a range of age groups, making the event appealing to families across the community.

Vendor spaces are currently sold out for both food and general business categories; however, a waitlist remains open. General vendors pay $230 for a single 15’x10’ space, with additional adjacent areas available at $130 each. Registered nonprofits pay $50 upon verification of tax-exempt status. Platinum-level Chamber members will receive one complimentary space, excluding food vendors.

Food sellers are charged $510 per booth, which includes two adjacent spaces. All must display clear, visible pricing and submit a certification of insurance, noting the Chamber as additionally insured, along with a valid Nassau County Health Permit.

Vendors may use Print shops to create pricing displays for events such as this one.

The Massapequa Street Fair will be held Sunday, June 1st, from 11 am to 6 pm at Lower Broadway, Massapequa, New York. The Rain date is Sunday, June 8th.
