The Stacey’s Warriors Strikes out Cancer Bowl-a-thon is open to anyone who would like to help raise money for cancer awareness.
The organizers of the bowl-a-thon are encouraging everyone in the Massapequa Park and Syosset areas to gather a bowling team and register for this cause. The event will include 2.5 hours of bowling and plenty of food and drinks. A 50/50 raffle will take place during the night, as well as raffles for sports memorabilia.
All the money raised from the event will support the nonprofit group, Stacey’s Warriors. The organization was founded by a breast cancer survivor that wants to increase awareness of the disease, help to fund research to fight cancer, and support other cancer patients.
The cost of registration is $60 per team and includes the bowling, shoe rental, and refreshments. Participants are asked to restrict teams to eight people or fewer, and registration continues until the day of the event. All registered teams should contact Danny at 516-426-3388 as soon as possible to provide the names of everyone on the team roster and please leave a comment with the team name when registering.
