Local runners gear up for 20-mile run in Massapequa Park
The Cross Island 20 Miler Trail Run will be taking place in Massapequa this December. It is being organized by the Long Island Trail Running Club.

While the run is free of charge, participants should be prepared for a self-supported format. No designated shuttle service is provided, but carpools are highly recommended to streamline transportation.
Runners will gather as early as 6 am to arrange rides to the starting point and to drop off gear for use at designated aid stations. This collaborative approach will simplify logistics and strengthen the bond among participants.
