F&F, a retailer of international fashion based in England, is planning to hold a grand opening on of its first store in New York this weekend.
The outlet will be in Bay Shore on Long Island at the Westfield South Shore Mall, and this will be followed by a store at the Westfield Sunrise Mall in Massapequa Park, which is set to open in mid-August as well.
F&F sells footwear, clothing, and accessories for men, women, and children similar to that of Old Navy and H&M. The retailer began life in Ireland and the UK in 2001 and has 1,600 corporate and store locations around the world.
According to Marshall Cohen, a retail analyst with Port Washington-based market research company The NPD Group, this is good timing for the retailer as the consumer is looking for new brands and fashions at affordable prices. Cohen adds that a company located abroad makes a wise decision when it wants to expand to the United States and locating on Long Island is one of the best, as people there spend more than the average American - particularly when it comes to fashion.
Print companies are also likely to benefit from these store openings, as brochure printing is often used to provide more details to the consumer about the merchant and its products and services.Get a Free Quote for Print
