Wall Township workshop to share cheesemaking secrets
Cheesemaking can be both a science and an artform, and a class will introduce Wall Township foodies to the practice of making it in their own home kitchen.
The workshop, which is scheduled for Soule’ Culinary and Art Studio in Pleasanton, will introduce different types of fresh cheese. Its listing pointed out that the facilitator will share some techniques that may be new to the group, and it will be a BYOB event.
The participants will be walked through the process of preparing fresh mozzarella and also burrata, and once they have finished they will be able to sit down and mingle over servings of berries, olives, crostinis and flavored vinegars and oils. These will be accompanied by their cheese creations, and tickets for the class are $75 each. A fee will be charged for any reservations that are cancelled, set at $25.
A cookery workshop can teach valuable skills while also being a whole lot of fun. Recipe cards can be crafted by a local printing services company to hand out so that the participants will find it easier to make the dishes in their own kitchen.
The cheesemaking 101 activity will be on offer on Saturday, January 21, and it will start at 6:00 pm. Tickets for the occasion are available for purchase on its Eventbrite listing.
