A retro-inspired activity will see Wall Township techies craft a dish garden they will never need to water, and they can choose to keep their creation or give it to a friend.
The registrants in the activity will be making “piranha plants” that have been inspired by the vintage Mario Bros video game. Tickets are $40, and while the attendees work on their projects, they will be able to chat and maybe even make some new friends.
The facilitator of the session will teach the participants how to craft their piece using Perler beads, and all of the supplies will be provided. The listing explained that they can be displayed in the home, office, or other setting, and the completed pieces will be almost a foot high. The class is being offered by Caba Creatives, and everyone who is interested is welcome to sign up.
Crafting workshops can be fun for those who take part, and it gives them a chance to learn some new skills. Many businesses that host these events choose to use marketing services provided by local Print shops to help spread the word to the public.
The Make Your Own Piranha Plant Perler Bead class will begin at 5:30 pm on May 25, and registrations for the session are now being accepted. It will be on offer at 406 Main Street in Asbury Park.
