An day of inclusive family fun is on the way for Wall Township, and those participants will be treated to an evening of activities at Allaire Community Farm.
POAC Autism Services has made plans to welcome both its member and non-member families for an evening of fun that will be accommodated to suit the needs of the participants. It is free for members to get involved while the general public has been asked to pay $20. Neurotypical siblings are welcome.
The function has been planned so that it will include an assortment of traditional Easter activities such as an egg hunt. The petting zoo will be open, and each guest will be able to hop aboard for a wagon ride. Refreshments will be served, and the parents or guardians can look on and take some photos of all the fun.
Attending planned activities offers a way for autistics to practice their social skills in a supportive setting. Offering families that plan on participating social stories and other tools can aid them in preparing for an outing, and these can be sourced from a printing services company.
POAC Autism Services has invited all area autism families to enjoy this evening of fun down on the farm. Planned for Saturday, April 16, it will run from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
