An event that will help Wall Township to get its geek on is set to celebrate the joy of vintage computing technology.
The Infoage Science and History Museum has announced that The Vintage Computer Festival will go ahead as planned. It will be held in person, with numerous activities scheduled for the three days of the event.
The organizers explain that the themes for this year will be “women in computing” as well as “computers for the masses,” and tickets may be purchased in advance at the door. A selection of speakers will take to the podium, and there will be various exhibits for all the guests to explore. The consignment area will help to connect techies with vintage computers and other gear. Everyone will be able to meet others who share their love of retro technology, and the classes that will be on offer will cover everything from early chip design to reverse engineering.
An event geared towards a particular hobby may benefit from having a Logo Design prepared by a printing services professional. These help to raise awareness of an activity or an organization.
The 2022 Vintage Computer Festival will be taking step back in time from April 22to April 24. The Infoage Science and History Museum’s website offers more information and a chance to purchase tickets.
