Wall Township site to celebrate areas past

A Wall Township historic site will be celebrating America's birthday with an event that will explore the history of the red, white, and blue.

The Historic Village at Allaire will be offering a glimpse into the area's history by hosting its Independence Day weekend schedule of activities. One of these will be an opportunity to view its one of a kind collection of vintage and antique American flags, with the oldest dating back to the 1800s.

Members of the public who purchase a ticket for a visit during the three-day weekend will be able to tour the site’s chapel as well as many of its other buildings, and a variety of tradespeople and other costumed interpreters will be on site demonstrating their skills. Themed pop-up tours will be on offer, and a selection of the display will only be open to the public for this one weekend only.

Families at historic site may wish to purchase souvenirs of the occasion. A printer can provide an assortment of Corporate Gifts that may be a good choice for this, and the proceeds from their sale may help to fund its activities.

This Wall Township celebration will be running throughout the week of July 4. Everyone is encouraged to pay a visit to the site and learn more about the community’s past.
