Wall Township residents advised of fall brush pickup schedule

Wall Township residents who are engaging in fall cleanup projects on their property may want to be aware of the newly confirmed fall brush pickup opportunities.

The community has scheduled the dates for its September brush collection, where the day will depend upon where a household is located. The items for pick up may not be placed at curbside more than a week in advance, and the branches and other materials may not be mixed with dirt or leaves.

The brush items that will be accepted for collection include all tree parts as well as shrubs, stumps that weigh no more than 50lb, vines, trimmings, and sea grass. It has been requested that materials such as grass, bamboo, hay bales, pine needles, sod, cornstalks, and lumber be disposed of in another way. Residents are asked to leave lawn clippings in place so they can break down and return their nutrients to the soil.

Most communities operate a solid waste collection system, and set a schedule for collection dates and regulations. A flyer printing company can prepare mailers to distribute to local households so they know about the applicable policies and how they can follow them.

Wall’s fall brush pickup schedule has been set for September, and it can be found here. Residents can look up the date using their street address.
