What's Happening in Wall Township, NJ…

Wall Township race will have whole community quacking

Kids from all over Wall Township, along with their whole family, may want to be sure they don’t miss a day that its organizers hope will leave everyone who attends feeling just ducky.

During the 13th Ducky Derby, which is The Historic Village at Allaire’s signature fundraiser, the public will be treated to a day filled with excitement. Ducky races will be held throughout the day, and for one dollar, people can enter a rubber duck and the first to cross the finish line will win a prize.

The races are scheduled to begin every half hour, and between times, there will be costumed characters strolling through the crowd and posing with the kids for photo ops. There will also be duck-themed games, a photo station, music, live demonstrations, and a ducky fishing derby where the participants have to pay $3 for each fish they catch.

The local business community has been invited to get in on the fun. Its members can choose to sponsor one of the Corporate Duckies, and the winner of this race will receive an assortment of promotional products, including event tickets and other items.

This occasion, which is anticipated to have the whole township quacking, will be held on July 20. It will run from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm, and admission to the event is free of charge.
