A fundraiser that will help make sure that every child in the area has food on their table will soon be held in the Wall Township area, and everyone is invited to grab their Santa gear and head to Ashbury Park to participate in the annual Santa Run.
Members of the public who take part in the day’s activities can choose to run, walk or roll along the route, which will be 5 km long. At the end of the race, there will be a special after party set up, which will feature an assortment of drink specials, live entertainment and food specials and other activities throughout the afternoon.
The organizers noted that last year, more than 1,000 Santas participated in the race, and they are hoping this year will be just as successful.
Along with the race and after party, a huge toy drive is on the agenda for the day. The public is asked to donate a new unwrapped toy, and these will be gathered and then distributed to kids in need throughout the area, making sure that they all have a gift to open over the holidays. Race bibs, Signs and other printed items for an event like this can be provided by a local printing services company.
This day, which will combine Santas with caring for the less fortunate in the community, will be held on December 9th in Bradley Park. More details are available on the run’s Facebook page.
