Wall Township is about to show its festive side when one of its historic attractions hosts its annual holiday party.
Christmas at Allaire will once again welcome the community's residents and visitors alike, and it will be filled with traditional fun. There are two dates on the calendar to choose from, and both will feature an assortment of themed activities.
Guests will be invited to walk the streets and view the assortment of displays, and many of the windows will be lit by the warm glow of candlelight. Carolers and musicians will be strolling through the crowd, and many of the costumed interpreters will be engaging in period-style work, such as cooking and candle making.
Along with the demonstrations, visitors will be able to play games, purchase gifts, and enjoy some light refreshments. A model train and village will be set up, and Santa will be on hand to meet the kids and pose for photos.
Period-style decor can often add to a historically themed event. This can be prepared by area banner printing companies.
Christmas at Allaire will be offering a step back in time on Sunday, December 10 and 17. Both days will run from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm. Tickets may be purchased ahead of time or at the gate, but it is recommended to secure online through sites like Eventbrite.
