The United Way is a charitable organization with a presence in many communities, and a chapter headquartered near Wall Township will be holding a foodie friendly fundraiser.
The organizers of the United for Impact Food Truck Festival explained it will serve as a funding and awareness raiser for United Way of Monmouth and Ocean Counties, and it will be set up along West Main Street in Freehold. While it's free to attend, everyone has been asked to consider making a donation to the cause, and their contributions will help a variety of charitable activities supported by The United Way.
At least 11 food trucks will be rolling in for the festivities, and they will be joined by 20 or more pop-up vendors. Several local bands will be performing for the crowd, and cold beer will be on tap for $5 a glass. An even-split raffle is in the works thanks to the support of the event’s corporate sponsors.
A food truck rally gives mobile eateries a chance to show themselves off to the public. Print shops will be happy to prepare and install full vehicle wraps so they will be in top shape for any occasion.
The United for Impact Food Truck festival will be rolling into the Wall Township area on October 22. The fun will kick off at 12:00 pm.
