It is almost that time of the year again, and Wall Township will be joining communities all over the country in building its Halloween spirit with a spinetingling celebration.
For four nights in October, the Historic Village at Allaire will be transformed into a spooky experience. Goats and ghouls will be paying a visit to many of its buildings as part of what is in store for those who attend the family-friendly festivities.
The plans for the occasion will see many of the buildings decked out for the season, and everyone can enjoy listening to spooky stories. A fortune teller will also entertain the crowd, and a haunted food truck will serve up seasonal fare. Everyone can purchase a variety of goods in the general store that all feature a unique graphic design, and there will be reenactors in historic dress circulating throughout the site.
The monies raised though this celebration will benefit the Village, which is a registered charity with 501(c)(3) status. Print shops can lend a hand to an event by preparing items that will not break the bank, leaving lots left over for the charity of choice.
The 2022 Night of Frights is on the agenda for the Historic Village of Allaire. Admission is available on October 14 and 15, as well as October 21 and 22.
