Wall Township area session to explore careers in the veterinary field

Veterinary assistants play an important role in the day-to-day operation of a vet’s office, and residents of Wall Township will soon be welcomed to an information session about making this their career.

The next class in Brookdale Community College’s Veterinary Assistant Program will be starting up in September, and attendance at this event is mandatory for those who plan being a student in this area. A variety of topics will be covered, and there will also be time to ask questions.

Entrance into this field of studies can be very competitive, and the requirements for admission will be part of the discussion. Representatives of Red Bank Veterinary Hospital will be on hand, and they will share details about the role assistants play in their practice and the benefits and challenges of this career. Brochure printing can be utilized to create handouts to distribute during an event like this.

In an effort to accommodate as many potential students as possible, two sessions have been planned, and those who are interested can choose the one best for them. They both run for approximately one and a half hours and are free to attend.

These informational evenings will be held on June 27 and July 11 at 765 Newman Springs Road in Lincroft. Pre-registration is mandatory for those who wish to take part.
