New Whole Foods Market to open in Wall Township

Shoppers in Wall Township will soon have a new choice of stores when it comes to buying their groceries.

Whole Foods Market will be opening its new location at 1933 on Route 4. The grocer, which offers natural and organic vegetables, fruit, meat, and other products, many of which will be locally sourced.

Acceding to the company, the store will cover an area of over 39,000 square feet, and will have many innovations that make it unique from other stores of a similar nature. It is the 15th location for the chain in the state of New Jersey.

It is expected that the opening will provide spinoff benefits for other area business, such as printing companies. It will also provide employment for between 175 and 200 people.

Michael Sinatra, who is a spokesperson for the company, noted that it will be situated in a spot that will make it a convenient option for those from the surrounding communities who live there all year round, as well as those who visit the area on a seasonal basis. He also pointed out that locations in Marlboro and Middletown have a lot of customers from Wall Township, and having a store there will make it easier for them to shop at Whole Foods Market without having to travel to do so.

April 13 has been chosen as the opening date for the new supermarket.
