Health insurance organization elects new president

The New Jersey Association of Health Underwriters (NJAHU) has recently elected Carolyn Andress as its president.

The organization represents licensed brokers, consultants, insurance agents and other professionals across the state who service individuals and businesses with their needs for health insurance.

Andress is a vice president of HUB International in Wall Township and a resident of Hazlet. HUB International is an insurance brokerage that provides an array of insurance products in North America. In this role, her responsibilities include strategic planning, management of client relationships, and new business development.

Her background and experience, according to a press release, make her extremely qualified for the position of president. Her activities in the NJAHU began in 2013. She has served as the Education Chair, Conference Chair, State Secretary, and President of the Monmouth-Ocean Chapter of NJAHU. In 2014, she received the Shooting Star Award, and followed this up in 2015 with the President’s Award.

Andress commented that now is an important era for the organization. There are many critical issues facing the industry and the NJAHU can play a significant role in advocating to the legislators for the insurance brokers and customers who the organization serves in the state.

In such situations, printing services can be used to create various kinds of materials to provide recent information about insurance regulations for consumers and businesses in the state.
